Mapping Alberta’s Grade 1 Trees
For over 60 years, the Alberta Government has delivered nearly 70,000 tree seedlings to Grade 1 students across the province. We started this project with a question – where are they?
The trees we tend are reflections of ourselves; for many, our Grade 1 Trees hold a special place in our hearts and childhood homes. We created the Alberta Grade 1 Tree Register to see how many Grade 1 Trees we can locate.
